Big hot dogs and old people

It's Tuesday, Craig has actually been a little more awake and alert today. The pain hasn't been as bad, in fact, he didn't take a pain pill until this afternoon. He's in his favorite chair in our bedroom, eating and drinking and having very weird dreams about big hot dogs and old people peeing (not in the same dream). He's also had the image of a rotten banana split down the middle with flowers all around the edges. He can almost carry on a conversation but usually zones out in the middle. I think he might survive this...it was a little scary the last few days. He has been so out of it. I can't wait to see the old Craig back making jokes and being obnoxious! Thanks again to everyone and especially to Dr. Craig for making a house call and checking his vitals and helping us through this.

  1. Nice work Craig. Suzy he is very lucky to have such a great wife who is supporting him. Hopefully Craig will be able to pee on some hot dogs and hang out with big old people soon. We love you Doutres.

  3. 09/09/09 today we hope is the magical day for Craig to be feeling better. The good thing about his disorientation is that he isn't feeling the pain and won't remember anything. The angels are watching over you!
Has he seen any gingerbread toilet seats yet? (Old Lois joke)

  4. I agree with Mary Ann - all this will be forgotten when he is able to get off the pain pills completely. It is a blessing to be so out of it that you don't know what is going on. We all pray for you, Craig - and for strength for you, Suz. Love you lots,
    Kathy
